How I work: the website development process
The website development process, for a website or a web app, from the first message to maintenance. You always talk to me, with no one in between, and each stage starts only with your approval.
-
First conversation
A meeting about your business. Who your customers are, what they look for, how you work today and what you want to change.
-
Plan
From the conversation, I write the plan. The pages, what the website or the app does, the decisions made and the open questions, together in one message.
-
Quote in stages
The quote comes by email, split into stages that you approve one at a time. There are no packages. You pay for what your project needs.
-
Build
I build the project on a preview with its own address, kept out of Google, which you can open on your phone at any time.
-
Review
We review every page and every fact together. Nothing unconfirmed goes live.
-
Launch
The website moves to your domain and becomes visible on Google and Bing. Your team gets access to the editor.
-
Maintenance
After launch, I keep taking care of hosting, updates and small changes. Larger requests get their own quote.
What I need from you
- One person who decides and answers the questions in the plan.
- The texts and photos of the business, or someone who can make them.
- Access to the domain, or someone who adds the records I send.
After launch
Hosting and maintenance keeps the website secure and up to date. Common questions are in the FAQ.
Do you have a project in mind?
Tell me what you need. Each project gets its own quote, with no commitment.
